Change to payment requirements

From November 22, 2025, whenever we receive an instruction to make an international payment, we will require the recipient’s full postal address. This change is part of an industry-wide initiative designed to enhance the speed and accuracy of payments.

Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible and we have notified clients to help avoid any potential delays with future transactions.

Digital banking users are asked to set up a new payee for any that receive international payments. It will not be possible to edit existing international payees and they will be archived on February 18, 2026.

For any CHAPS payments, we will ask for address details and for the purpose of the payment.
