David Huntley takes over as Board Chair

David Huntley has officially started in his new role as Chair of the Hampden Bank Board. He succeeds outgoing Chair, Simon Miller, who announced his retirement after five years in the role. David joined the Board in October 2020 as Non-Executive Director and he previously served as Chair of the Risk Committee.

David is a qualified Actuary with significant executive and boardroom experience. He is a non-executive director of Fidelity Platform Services Ltd and he was formerly Chair of Scottish Friendly, Fidelity Life Insurance Ltd and Fidelity Life Insurance (Ireland) DAC. David’s previous corporate roles include MD of Pearl Life Ltd, CEO of Scottish Re Ltd and CEO of Swiss Re Life and Health Australia.
