Hampden Bank appoints Colin McGill as Head of Credit

Colin McGill, former District Head for Handelsbanken in Scotland and Cumbria, has joined Hampden Bank as Head of Credit. In this role, Colin will oversee the bank’s loan offering with responsibility for the review and approval of large or complex borrowing requests, for the performance of the loan portfolio and for managing the bank’s credit risk exposure.

Colin spent nine years at Handelsbanken in various leadership roles where he served as Branch Manager and Area Manager before becoming District Head in 2021. He also worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland for more than 30 years, latterly as Director of Commercial Banking for the East of Scotland.
